Got the engine finished up, Primed the oil pump with an old dist. shaft I hooked up to my drill. Reinstalled the distributor and fired her up on the engine stand I built years ago. Ran it for about 20 minutes with no issues other than a worn out distributor. The advance plates and holes were egg shaped causing way to much advance.
Installed a new MSN electronic unit and resolved all the problems. Set my timing and adjusted the carb with a vacuum gauge.
No leaks and ready to install. Dennis
