Ridin' High, I am in a similar predicament. I have a 1971 K10 SWB. I am putting in a ZZ502 BBC and a TH400 Tranny. I decided to leave my T-case and drivetrain in stock position and simply move the engine forward the required 3"... This looks like it should work fine with the exception I may need to go electonic fan for clearance up front. I have the 2nd Gen DIY4X crossmember and just fitted it to the 502 tonight. Sure enough, the crossmember hits the pan. Can you explain a little more on how you solved this? I was thinking maybe I could just use a different pan? You said you cut the back flange and move ahead 2 1/2". I am not following... your pics don't show the crossmember attached. BTW - Love your Engine. Very nice. Appreciate any additional pearls of wisdom.
