Well Kenbo it is sitting on the x-member in front due to being aired out but when raised up it does fine. If I was going off road I'd take my v30 crew. As far as towing this will be set up to tow and I towed a lot with my '92 shop truck seen here:

And towing one of the show cars seen here:


If you're dragging the Jeeps to the parking paved parking lot at the entrance to the dunes either of these is fine but both max out at about 6" ground clearence.
