On the surface where the taillight bucket mounts, I cut away just enough for the 2" filler pipe to fit. On the inside stake pocket, I did the same, only lower, once I figured the angle of the drop.
As for the hinge, I just welded 2 "ears" to the bucket, and used machine screws. They act as a swivel. I then had to grind a notch out of the inside of the lense to clear the screw heads.
