I'm a little confused here ?
this make's a couple of post's complaining about sending these two barrell rochester's to someone and having bad luck ??? no way I would send one of those ANYWHERE just rebuild it yourself ,,
these carburetor's are AS BASIC AS IT GET'S ,,,,,,that insurance phrase come's to mind ,, A CAVE MAN COULD DO IT !!!!!!!!!!

all it take's is some good quality cleaner/degreaser and a $15 kit from napa ! THATS IT !

as far as you saying that your whole carb is gone those are on ebay all the time ,,,,,,
I'm sure that plenty of guy's on here have some to sell they used that same carburetor on 283's 307's 327's FOR YEAR'S !
