Thank you, I was shocked at the negative comments I received after starting this thread. I know how hard it is to break the norm and do something different. Good or bad it sends us in a direction of process that we go through and nobody does it right the first time. A lot of these things are just trial and error. I realize to make the majority of people happy, I would have to put the stock grill on. It's easy to stick a stock grill from the factory on and have a truck that looks like everyone elses.
As far as the flames go, in school I studied commercial art and I've always been good at drawing, many of the ideas came from magazines. I've been painting cars since 94 in my garage, I've always done it as a hobby. The purple came from a truck I'd pained years ago but was wrecked. Although I do realize purple has gone out of style, the question now is to repaint the truck with a newer scheme.
I welcome yours, and others, opinion.
