I am looking to relocate my in cab tank for more space behind the seat, but I don't want to use a behind the axle tank and lose my spare tire. Does anyone know if the 73-81 or 82-86 side saddle tanks will fit on a 71 lwb?

I'm not worried about the side impacts since I don't plan on mounting model rocket engines on my fuel tank like Dateline did.
