Good question. My 67 C-10 has the in-cab tank only now but someone in the past had installed dual side saddle tanks with filler doors in the bed sides but they had been removed before I got the truck. It does still have the three way valve on the floor at least.

I will take some measurements of the tanks on my 78 and see if they can be made to fit. They have the same frame rail spacing so I don't see why not.
