."Camper" is a general term,but you said it even comes with tie downs and asked about you truck hauling it which tells me it`s a slide-in camper.Just load it,ties it down and go like you have something you are driving the first time.Watch for branches and other low objects.You`re up there at over 8',remember.Don`t want to crush the overhang.
