Even with alloy shafts in the D60, a 42 is as big as you'd want to go if your gonna wheel it much.
You'll want to consider drivability I'm guessing, going with a radial would be the way to go but finding a radial in those sizes could limit the choices.
Believe it or not, there's a huge difference between and 40 & a 42" tire.
If those are your two tire choices, I'd stay with the 40" tire unless your really going to get into rock crawling.
When I went to 42's from my 39.5's, it was night/day difference in the rocks but they pretty much ruined the street manners.
What are you doing for a lift to clear those meats?
