- I had a truck that did that - I ended up pulling the cylinder and the bezel and found that the bezel wasn't holding the ignition tight to the dash - so it was spinning the whole ignition switch, cylinder, etc.
Pull it and take a look. You can start it with a screwdriver while you replace/examine the parts...
