Low Dough, I have done a lot of 67-72 trucks, but my dream truck has always been a 63 short bed. I wouldn't settle for anything earlier since 63 was the first year of the front suspension I am so used to with coil spring instead of torsion bars. I also wouldn't settle for anything newer because I had to have the wrap around windshield. It was a 63 or nothing for me. I just got lucky and stumbled across this truck after looking for one for about 10 years.

Honestly, I like it so much that it has become a pampered truck. I only drive it 3 times a week or so. The rest of the time it sits in the garage nice and warm and dry while my new Toyota sits outside in the weather.

This is the first one I vow to never sell. That's one reason I painted my name on the doors, to make it undesirable to other folks. I still had a few dozen offers to buy it at the swap meet though.
