Great write-up Steve. And, good luck with the "priority project."
I hadn't thought too much about this kind of mod, mainly I guess because the front clip mod almost seems to make more sense. But, maybe not. Looking at these pics and giving it more thought, this just makes good sense.
But, what are the problems that the stovebolt guy encountered? It looks like it would be a pretty straight forward swap.
