I am going to relocate my tank to the back also, but I didn't want to use the old tank because it would be visible , so I got some help to make up a custom tank, just an idea if you can't cover the box right away and worried what the tank would like. I may cover my box later too, just my 2 cents.
The tank is stainless steel.
