I ordered rear ebrake cables that said fit 63-65 SWB w/coils. I don't remember them being this long. Then I remembered I actually used the 72 trailing arms. I thought I remembered the 65 locking into the trailing arms with horseshoe spring clips. I didn't take good pics during teardown. That was before I found this forum. Here is a pic of the new 63-65 brake cable compared to the 72 (I think). It's the only one I have so I'm 99% sure it is the old 72 cable. I don't have my old rearend or trailing arms. I sold them. The 3rd cable on the far right is the front cable out of the truck.



This is the bracket I'm referring to that it locks in. The new cable doesn't have that provision. I don't have a pic of mine this is a co-workers truck.
