Re: Tire size Question

My panel truck had 10 inch wide rims and I ran many a set of P235 tires on it and even smaller.

The trick is to find a old tire shop. They have a rubber ring that will go against the inside of the wheel which will allow them to put air in the tires to inflate them to get them to jump on the bead.

Or you could put a whole bunch of grease all over the wheel and the beads of the tire and spray some Starting Fluid inside of the tire and light with a match.

My truck handled better with a P 265 tire or you could go with a 31 x 10.50x15 tire..

My motto has always been, Dirt is for racing and pavement is for getting there.

You wouldn't catch me with summer tires on a pick up truck!
