Yall are right, there is nothing holding the spring up top only the truck itself only bolted at the bottom and they are factory rear springs (like said earlier)just cut, i personally have not drove my wife's 67 yet (pulled motor when i bought it) but i can see the chance of someting moving if hit the right way while driving, my buddy drove his 72 like that until he sold it and no problems this truck was my buddys brother in law so thats where he got the idea but i think i will get a set of new lowering springs when the time comes! springs are cheaper than other truck parts, and my or the wife's parts lol
