Then off to Northern Tool where they had their wheel/ tire assemblies on sale for 7 bucks. The old axles were bent and worn so I went to the scrap yard and bought a long piece of 5/8 cold rolled round rod for 3 bucks. This is the first mock-up to get an idea of stance (very important) and measure axle length to figure out where to cut them...




That's it for today. Tomorrow I will repair the rust, lengthen the handle (I'm freakishly tall), and start prepping for powdercoating.
