Re: Dropped the 64 2 inches in the back
[QUOTE=sailed2japan;3885210]JR, The trucks looking good! About the stiffness in the back, it's got to be coming from the axle hitting the exhaust or the bump stops, since you didn't change the springs. I would keep your 3.08 axle in and chnge the exhaust to come out in front of the wheels. I think that is a good look on our trucks. Either that or Y the pipes back together, like factory, but with bigger tubing. Run a single back and over the side w/o the track bar and split it at the back.
A look that I have seen and like is to Y the exhaust under the side of the bed, then run two twin tip exhaust tips so it give a drag car kinda look.[/QUOT
sailed2japan,
Thanks for the advise.
Ive been talking with the guy thats going to do the exhaust for me. Looking at it I think I am going to go wide at the front and go down the outside of the frame rail tucking the pipes as high as I can. Then placing the Mufflers between the frame rail and the outside bed wall then back over the differential and strait out the back. When I get it done I will post some pictures.
Thanks for the compliment,
