I went to the one last weekend in Dallas and there are some changes this year.
1) No tool box, NAPA backed out as a sponsor
2) No floating min. I was in the 10.00 class and they gave me a full second ( had to be faster than 11.00)
3) If you make it to the final 16 and win your first you get 500.00 and then it goes up as you progress.No betting

Still alot of fun
