When I done the same swap with the same parts mentioned here, the inside shift rail will hit the stock 4500 tailhousing. They will need to be spaced 2.5" apart to get enough room for the inner rail to travel full distance out. This leaves 3 options. (1)buy the AA tail housing for this application and clearence issues will be avoided. (2) Grind the stock tailhousing out for clearence. If option 2 is used, the factory TH may be weakened a bit with the loss of material and leakage could develop in this spot. (3) Have a custom spacer machined like I did to mate the 2 together. The 205 I used came out of an '87 1 ton from behind an SM465. It has the long 32 spline input that will mate up slick as a whistle. Check this thread for more info
