Re: cheap sound deadener?
I've been putting this project off for a while but finally ordered some fatmat a couple weeks ago. I've only done the passenger door so far but it made a pretty big difference already. While 130 bucks wasn't "cheap", I feel that it was worth it for the price. My truck doesn't have a floor covering other than a rubber mat and no headliner. I haven't decided on whether I'm going to fatmat the floor and cover it with a floor kit of some sort or just do line-x on the floor. Probably the latter and I'll use leftover fatmat on another vehicle.
