Re: It could only happen to me....
Rat, Happy Easter. Just for grins, assuming the 88 don't leak, try putting the hose you got for the 79 in the 88 and try to tighten it and see if it is OK. If it is the problem is with the gear in the 79. If not ok, the hose is the issue. In that case, compair the 2 hose ends (gear end) and see if the height of the flare nuts is different. Also check the nut on the other end of the new hose. VERY unlikely you might have the hose in backwards. I can see this happening IF the wingnut behind the counter gave you a hose for a vehicle with hydroboost. I don't know if you have unlimited phone, but if you want you can call me at 518-581-1622. I have unlimited so if you get your number to me I'll call you and we can go over this problem. Jim

Little stuff left to do is mount winch, wet sand & buff out and build belly pan\running boards. Body work takes lots and LOTS of beer!!!! God, Guts and Guns made America and God, Guts and Guns will preserve it! The worst thing you could do is get into my sights, but that don't matter, you'll never know it, cause you'll never hear the shot Jim or Paladin whichever you choose.
