First of all, my truck is a TRUCK, so it gets used as a truck, maybe I should've kept my step bumper.
My wheeler got stuck today. Well decided id go get the ol truck and pull it out (it pulled it out in sand with road tires no problem).
Had the bright idea to hook a hook to the top of my nice chrome bumper, its only like 300lbs wheeler 250cc. Well it bent it a little (pics later im not at home and cant upload pics). Havent tried to bend it back yet but what can i use without killing the chrome its original and not repop but there expensive and hard to comeby at the junkyards...
I know a torch/hammer would do it but there wouldnt be any chrome left. What can I do to fix it and not destroy the chrome? (it was a striaght bumper now its gotta big ^ in the top of it
makes me mad at my stupidity, oh well time to order a new un!!! Or torch it straight and sandblast/powdercoat it white...
how can I strighten it and keep chrome in ok shape (as long as it doenst completely disapeer like i said its 40 year old chrome but id like to not destroy it...
