I try not to work in the rain unless I have to. Now snow, that's easier--as long as it's not melting and I have a piece of cardboard.

Changed a starter in the snow back in January (I live in an apartment, too) but I actually was ready to answer a "How far will you go..." question in miles...went 120 on christmas from here to Lexington, SC in part because I could change my radiator there the next day. Of course Christmas dinner and presents helped the decision, though.
