I was about to start working on my flip-kit and I realized the bed seems a little odd. I don't think it's suppose to be like this, but is the bed suppose to have these wood piece spacers between the bed cross-sills and the frame?

I looked at Brothers and they have a bed mounting pad set, but I didn't see anything that was a bushing set or anything. Am I missing something? Or does it seem like the previous owner jimmy rigged this thing?
