Anyone had good results rebuilding their gearbox?
If the gearbox is leaking out of just the input shaft, can that seal be easily changed without removing gearbox from truck and or without taking apart?
If the gearbox is loose, will that adjuster nut take out very much of the slop? The steering wheel has maybe a 1/4 turn of play.
A rebuilt gearbox is $160, rebuild kit is $45, and the input shaft seal is $10.
Just trying to find the cheapest but yet still good choice.
