If the wheels came off of a Chevy car, they are 5x4.75" most likely. You can actually measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the next bolt hole and calculate the diameter of the bolt circle that way. Take that measurement, we'll call it "BC", and do this simple calculation...BC/.588, and you should get the Bolt Pattern.

I'm not disputing what you are saying, I do not know all nor will I, but if i take a tape measure and measure a 5 lug wheel from center of 1st to back of 3rd hole i get the bolt circle everytime. plus look in the summit catalog they tell you how to measure 4/5/6/8 lug wheels that way. just my .02
