Here's one with the trim/locking strip, as you can see in the pic it has a completely seperate groove to slip into





Have you tried putting the rubber onto the glass? it should only fit one way
And installing your own glass is no big deal, just have a buddy put slight pressure on the glass while you pull the rope and you will be fine
