Re: Drag Racing

If it were me , i would start out with a set of drag radials and run in a foot brake no electronic class with the tow rig while i was looking for a half ton to build a race truck out of . JMO .

-Weight
How much does your pickup weigh? I tipped the scales at 4350lbs with me in it.

-Cam
I've narrowed down my choices to two and want input. Comp cams 275DEH or the XE274H. I have heads that will take more than this, but I'd still like to be able to drive it on the streets.

-Torque converter
I was looking at a 2500 stall for either one, but want to know if it might be a little low. What are the effects of having to high of a stall?

-Tires
What would be a good set of tires to put on that are decent on the street and strip?

-The final question is Nitrous
Would you do it or not? I was considering a 100 or 150 shot if I do it.

Thats all for now and thanks for your input in advance.
