Do not really know the answer to your question; However here is something I found, I purchased a 72 short bed with 5 lug rally wheels, when I got it all torn down to the frame I noticed that one of the front wheels was closer to the tie rod end than the other side, it was close to an inch different, not sure where the wheels came from but one of them is different.
