If so, it is my understanding that aluminum intakes require composite gaskets (non-steel) while iron intakes use steel core. Btw Edelbrock even sells the composite gaskets for their intakes also.
I didn't know there was a difference I just replaced the Gasket with the same one that was already on there by haveing the auto parts store get me the same part number. I am sure the Mechanic wouldn't of put the wrong one on to began with. I used Fel-Pro's Performance 1210 - Intake Manifold Gasket Set. I read on summit it says Composite, but under Gasket Material it says Steel core laminate.
