It looks like it is the steel core gasket to me I would be concerned about that gasket properly sealing with aluminum on top of it and the low torque of the bolts. Most people assume intake gaskets are universal but from reading many posts on other forums on the subject it seems the non-steel intake gasket is the preferred choice for aluminum intakes.

Felpro Z1212 is the correct gasket btw.

If you still have problems with it leaking than I would suspect the gasket.

Edelbrock doesn't even sell a steel core gasket and the 7203 Summit list as steel core is incorrect its not steel.

Also Chevrolet didn't use steel core intake gaskets on 69 Z28's (w/ aluminum intakes) either btw if I an not mistaken.
