A factory Fender has what is called a "Weep Slit" built in the cup and also in other places on the truck to let water drain out.
I dont know if the reproduction Fenders have this or not.
Somtimes the Weep Slit can get pluged up from road debris, I just had this happen on my pass side door, on a day after a heavy rain, I opend the door to get somthing and when I closed the door it closed better than ever with a nice heavy & solid thud but I also heard the sound of water sloshing around in it.
So to let the water drain I just slid a Knife up into the slit and opened it right up.
