I quickly learned to tell the parts people that it is an R10, not a C10! I got a bunch of tune-up parts for an 87' C-10, that wound up being the wrong part (fuel filter was paper-filter for carbs, plug wires for regular HEI dizzy, not computer controlled, so the boots were too long, etc).

I ran into the same problems at the parts stores also. Mine is a '87 R2500 (GMC)
