Find out what motor was in that car originally. It will tell you alot about that rearend before you break it open. You have 3 different bearing sizes on the carriers. 2.80 which is low performance apps. 3.06 bearing which was in most trucks, 3.250 bearing which is the bigboy and is for the high performance apps. You can change any 9 inch housing to hold whatever carrier you want, but it is nice to have the good stuff already....
