That bumper could easily be the original rear. Like cdowns said, they had dealer installed options for rear bumpers when these trucks were new. Every old truck I have ever had has had a custom rear bumper and my '63 C20 has one that wraps around like that. It's also original to the truck. What kinds of bumpers were available depended completely on the what was available from the local vendors in the area where the truck was sold.
