this is what was already on the truck, & the bent end snapped...when i tried to duplicate the rod, it also snapped when i tried to bend it...luckily i had enough rod to just cut a straight piece to length...then i used a couple of "L" shaped brackets to attach the ends...seemed to work out good...i'll snap a couple pics when i get a chance

i'm running the 2-speed Powerglide....you can visibly see that rod coming up from the back of the engine in the second pic i posted...the bend in the linkage rod snapped where it goes through the hole in that other rod
