I would like to use a solid plate, much like the one in the picture below but without the center removed, to conceal a radio recessed in the dash. I would use some type of hinge mechanism and just fold it open when using the radio then back up when parking. It would simply look like a filler plate when closed. I have a couple of questions: Has anybody done this before? Who makes the plate below again? I would like to email him. Thanks.
