80 miles is about a 1 1/2 hour drive. If it made the initial trip it must be pretty solid mechanically. As others have said...I would check the fluids well, tires, brakes, etc. As mentioned also have a AAA card and cell phone. And lets not forget a camera for we want to see pics.
