If you were going to make it a inline six, low and slow cruiser sticking with drums might be ok, but since you are planning to put some speed in it the truck should be able to stop as fast as it goes. Call it my opinion or my own theory, but I couldn't live with hitting a kid on the street because I was too cheep to upgrade my brakes.

agreed to some extent and down the road im sure it wil end up with maual discs and 5 lug but right now the rear is already a posi and i have no need to take it apart and spend money on 5 lug axles just to have front discs. not to mention im not dragracing at ten second 1/4 mile times in a school zone.
