Here are the pics of the lowering blocks

I went to my local scrap yard and bought a piece of square tubing that was 14" long ($3.00) and then cut it in half and then measured (two or three times) and drilled holes for the u-bolts.







I had the u-bolts made at a local truck shop, 3/4" rod with 3 1/2" interior width and 10" long. I could have used a shorter length but I want to trim it to size in case of scrub line issues. I also took off the nuts that came with the u-bolts and replaced them with grade 8 nuts that gave me more clearance.



This is what I ended up with. I have never done this before but it went together easy enough and so far has not fell off so I am going to deem it a sucess
