Re: Changing to 4.75" bolt pattern?

I've got dual bolt pattern on my truck ( both 5 on 5 and 5 on 4 3/4). I have a 73+ crossmember with disc brakes on my '68. I have stock 1.25" rotors that are drilled for 5 on 4 3/4 bolt pattern also. The rear axles are new moser (my originals were 6 bolt) that are dual drilled for both 5 on 5 and 5 on 4 3/4 patterns. I couldn't find a shop to redrill and weld my original 6 lug axles for a reasonable price. It was cheaper to buy new axles and bearings. The front drums for a '56 bel air as well as some '73 + vans ( some have a 5 on 4 3/4 bolt pattern) will work out back. I did have to have the font hubs turned by a machine shop to get the right hub diameter to run my bel air steelies and spider caps. Wasn't that hard to do at all.
