Well, being cheap like I am, I am gonna see if I can spot weld the peice that the torx bolts attach to onto the steering column pipe where the pipe broke, hopefully it won't move at all, also need to die one of the torx bolts, it's tip is totally stripped and won't hold onto anything. If the welding idea works, then it should work fine. I think that I am gonna get this truck into running condition, then throw a for sale sign up, sell it for at least $2500 then combine that with my savings and buy a nicer year that is in better shape.
