Yes you can use washers or go to a body parts supply house and get some shims. You can cut slots out of washers as well but the shims are easier to use since they have a tab to hold on to them or grab them. Atleast you hung the door before you welded the cab corner on. A lot of people don't do that and have to cut the complete patch out and start over. Nice job, and keep up the great work!
