Are you sure the noise is coming from the bed and not echoing off the bed. Bad leaf spring bushing will clunk pretty hard. A bad shock bushing can clunk too. Basically lay under the truck and have someone else get in the bed and make it bounce and look for things moving that shouldnt be. It will likely be obvious once your under there. Just use a good spray lube on the bushings
