you could just use RTV.. that's what my daily driver required from the factory.... or you can go basic paper gasket with some rtv wiped on both sides

I used Lucas synthetic gear lube to quiet the posi "shutter" as well... 90W should work. Can't remember how much they take, about 2-3 quarts each... just fill it until it reaches the fill hole.
