true about the less fittings, but it really isnt that hard. you should see how many adapters im running lol

i used loctite on mine and not one single leak. i have 1/4" 3/8", and 1/2" fittings all on my tank (which are 1/2" ports). i was terrified at first becuase i dreaded a leak but so far so good. that loctite is the shiznit
