Cool A/C conversion

I changed mine out about 4years ago are longer. Go to the local junk yard and buy the complete system out of a later model truck (73 and above) take old system out and retro fit everything back in. I did this and on 85 degree days mine runs at 38 t0 40 degree's and has never over heated. I also have it hooked up to cycle the compressor on and off and it works great.
Here are some pictures of the set up, look at the difference it makes to the fender well as well.

The reason I say get from a junk yard, is you have all the peices that you need for that year truck, and then you can go buy all the new stuff that you will need.
I only payed $35.00 for the complete system and pulled it myself. I bought a old model compressor ready for R134-A.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
