if the tank strainer sock is plugged you can remove the inlet hose rom the pump and blow back into the tank with lo pressure(less than 25lbs) to clear the sock for a very temporary fix to get you home

the carb filter if plugged you remove the filter from the carb body , spray the housing real good with carb cleaner prior to installing new filter
